Two things that contrast does not mean can not in line. When combined, it turns out they can present an attractive arrangement.

The past and present, two things that can not seem to fit together. Like the two styles, antique and modern. Apparently, this assumption is not entirely correct. In the interior design for example, both styles can provide interesting view, when combined.

The dining room in this photo, could be one example. Antique and modern alloys or often called eclectic, making it looks more attractive. At first glance, might escape the attention. But try to look at the dining table and chair sets. Both seemed to come from a different era.
